Kia Motors Corporation manufactures passenger cars, trucks, SUVs, light commercial vehicles, and different types of transportation such as buses, delivery vans, and loaders. The firm expanded into automobile leasing and maintenance. Kia today manufactures over 1.4 million automobiles per year across 14 production and assembly facilities in eight countries. These cars are marketed and serviced in 172 countries through a network of over 3,000 distributors and dealers.
The majority of the company's consolidated revenue comes from the production of passenger automobiles, with another third coming from recreational vehicles and only a small position in commercial vehicles.
