Creux du Van

At 1,126 meters above sea level, the top of the plateau offers panoramic views over Switzerland's midlands, the Alps in the east, and France in the west. It is also a popular hiking and climbing location in western Switzerland's Jura highlands. This natural terrain is home to antelope, mountain goats, lynx, and a variety of other animal species. This 25-square-kilometer wildlife area is unspoiled and well-protected.
