Dallas Institute of Funeral Service
The Associate of Applied Science - Online program at the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service is designed to meet the requirements for obtaining a license and employment in the funeral business. It is considered one of the best accredited online mortuary science schools. It satisfies recognition and approval bodies' requirements. The course covers the theoretical as well as practical foundations of funeral services.
The program is delivered in academic quarters, with eleven weeks of study each quarter. The participation of renowned experts ensures the program's excellent employment relevance, and it is intended to impart practical knowledge and abilities.
With distance learning, students can skip the time they would typically spend in the classroom because the classes are offered online. The goals, content, and adaptability of each course at Pierce Mortuary Colleges are the same as those of the on-campus component.
Contact the secretary of the school you want to transfer to to find out if your credits from other schools will transfer. Additionally, students can use Ottawa University's online bachelor's degree program by transferring their credits.
The American Board of Funeral Service Education (ABFSE) has recognized both the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and the Funeral Service Degree program. The Funeral Director's Program is made to fulfill certain requirements set forth by the state or industry.
It is not accredited by the American Board of Funeral Service Education since it does not provide training in general education courses, relevant scientific courses, or embalming. After completing this program, students cannot take any state board exam or the National Board exam that requires completion of a curriculum approved by the ABFSE.
