David Castillo Gallery

Previously a private dealer, Castillo has built a name for himself in Wynwood with a beautifully refurbished property displaying high-caliber contemporary work by emerging and mid-career artists in a variety of mediums. He relocated his gallery to Lincoln Road in 2014 and works directly with artists to help them develop their distinctive approaches.

David Castillo is a preeminent gallery in the United States in the identification, development, and presentation of ground-breaking artists, established in 2005. After renovating a decrepit warehouse in Miami, Florida into a 5,000-square-foot gallery, David Castillo launched the gallery under his own control in 2005. The gallery relocated to the historic Albert Anis 420 Lincoln Road building in Miami Beach in September 2014.

David Castillo's research focuses on conceptual curatorial models in relation to art historical, cultural, and personal studies. As actors of the present atmosphere, the gallery works with artists who are devoted to the integrity of their distinct histories and studio methods.
