Deadpool
Deadpool is a superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name that was released in 2016. Wade Wilson, who has mutant abilities and a damaged physical appearance, becomes the antihero Deadpool in the film.

It became the ninth-highest-grossing film of 2016, grossing over $782 million on a $58 million budget, breaking numerous records, including the highest-grossing X-Men film and R-rated film at the time. Critics commended Reynolds' acting, the film's aesthetic and fidelity to the comics, as well as the action sequences. It was nominated for a number of awards and got two Critics' Choice Awards and two Golden Globe nominations.
