Densuke Watermelon, also known as a black watermelon, is commonly grown on the island of Hokkaido, Japan. This fruit always appears at the top of the most luxurious fruits in Japan and the world. In the most recent auction, Densuke Watermelon was auctioned for up to 6,100 USD and was dubbed the king of watermelons.
Densuke Watermelon has a rigorous and standardized growing process in each stage. Therefore, each year only 10,000 fruits are harvested, with each fruit weighing 5-10 kilograms. From the outside, Densuke Watermelon has a darker and glossy black color than other watermelons, the inside of the watermelon is bright red, sweet, and gentle. If you want to enjoy this luxury fruit, you can buy it at a more reasonable price of about 45 USD/kilogram, it is produced by the cooperative in the town of Toma.
