Ruby Roma Grapes

Another world's most expensive fruit from Japan is Ruby Roman Grape. It is cultivated, harvested, and exported from Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. Ruby Roman grapes sold for up to 100,000 Japanese yen in their first sale in 2008.


Roman Ruby grapes have a unique berry red color, which was jointly developed by local farmers and Ishikawa's Agricultural Research Center in 1995. With a growing process that follows strict quality standards throughout the unique season, flavor and size have made Roman Ruby grapes always at the top of the most expensive fruits in the world.
