Diana, Princess of Wales, Memorial Playground in the UK
Inspired by Peter Panin near Kensington Palace, Diana Memorial Playground is inspired by the late Princess Diana to encourage children to use their imagination. Opened in June 2000, it offers traditional elements like swings and slides, but in a fun and whimsical way.
Visitors can enter Diana Memorial Playground for free, but on busy days there can be queues, so you might have to wait a bit to explore this creative playground. At the heart of the play area is a huge wooden pirate ship, and one of the things that makes this playground so impressive is the attention to detail in the ship's attention to detail. Kids can operate the boat's steering wheel, use the pulleys and climb the boat's wooden structure. The design makes it easy for children to immerse themselves in creative play. The Mermaid Fountain and Tent Fortress add to the magnificence of this place. Many of the playgrounds in the park are wheelchair accessible, so most children can use them.
- Open: 10:00–20:00
- It's free and has supervised access, so only accompanied children are permitted.
