Doctor’s Cave Beach
Doctor’s Cave Beach is more than just a beautiful beach. The restorative nature of the waters was frequently advised here for people in need of a bit of tropical sun, sea, and sand. Doctors Cave Beach is located on Gloucester Avenue, Montego Bay's "Hip Strip." Although several other beaches share some of Doctor's Cave's characteristics, none share all of them.
Doctor’s Cave Beach is a popular tourist destination due to its warm Caribbean waters, well-kept grounds, and clean sanitary facilities. The Sand Restaurant and Bar serves a wide range of dishes and beverages. On your next trip to Montego Bay, don't miss out on Doctors Cave Beach! All of these wonderful, laid-back stretches are ideal for swimming, snorkeling, biking, hiking, and, of course, lying back in the sun with a cool Red Stripe in hand.
It does require an entrance fee, which may be a deterrent for some. Many, on the other hand, are willing to pay to enter Doctor's Cave, play in the calm waves, enjoy the safety of lifeguards, and have easy access to accessible water activities, changing rooms, and beach bars. The fee of entry to the beach is $6 per day (or $3 per day for minors). For an extra daily cost, chairs, umbrellas, and floats can be rented. The beach at Doctor's Cave is open every day from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
