Seven Mile Beach
The Seven Mile Beach in the resort town of Negril, located along with Jamaica's western point, is a fan favorite. The tranquil shoreline is ideal for paddleboarding in the sparkling, mild waves or taking a long walk on the sandy, white beach bordered by intimidating cliff formations. Adventurers like exploring the cliff's caves or attempting to maneuver a Hobie Cat, with calm winds assisting you in gliding the little catamaran over the emerald water. Seven Mile Beach is also one of the best sites in Jamaica to watch the sunset.
Seven Mile Beach is a lengthy crescent of coral-sand beach on Grand Cayman's western coast. Seven Mile Beach is well-known for its beauty, having recently been named "The Caribbean's Best Beach" by Caribbean Travel and Life Magazine. Most resorts have restaurants that are open to the public, as well as several public beach bars. Some small reefs right offshore provide excellent snorkeling opportunities, most notably near the Marriott hotel (an artificial reef), Government House, and just north of Seven Mile Public Beach.
To the south of Seven Mile Beach is George Town, the capital city of the Cayman Islands and the main tourist attraction, while to the north is the West Bay region, which includes a turtle farm and the Hell limestone formations.
