Don Bosco University

Don Bosco University is a non-profit, non-political, Christian-inspired institution that was founded and is affiliated with the Salesian Institution through foundation and charism. It was founded in 1984 as a continuation of Don Bosco's efforts to promote the primacy of the person and the integral education of young people.

It is a solid entity dedicated to Salesian higher education through significant institutional initiatives such as an Educational Model, medium-term strategic and tactical planning, and, at the same time, the development of an institutional framework and integrity that is increasingly oriented toward continuous improvement. In its geographical and historical environment, the UDB continues to bet on academic quality and social responsibility, with a strong commitment to innovation that has allowed it to gradually join internationalization and contribute to the knowledge society.

Don Bosco University is a member of the Salesian Colleges of Higher Education (IUS), a network of more than 80 Salesian-sponsored institutions located across the globe in America, Europe, Africa, South Asia, and East Asia. ODUCAL (Organization of Catholic Universities of Latin America and the Caribbean) and Oceania. Don Bosco University is definitely one of the best universities in El Salvador.
