The Routemaster bus was invented in 1956 by engineer Frank Searle of the AEC company. Unlike regular buses, Routemaster is a double-decker bus, which doubles the number of seats, designed specifically for London City.
Although in 2005, the double-decker bus stopped operating in the UK, the image of this unique bus is still reproduced through many movies, postcards, travel books, etc., making people in this nation always remember and reminisce about it.
