Dream High (2011)
Dream High is a South Korean television series that premiered in 2011 and starred Bae Suzy, Ok Taec-yeon, Kim Soo-hyun, Ham Eun-jung, Jang Woo-young, and IU. It aired on KBS2 for 16 episodes from January 3 to February 28, 2011, at 22:00 (KST) on Mondays and Tuesdays. During its two-month run, the drama was popular with youngsters, with an average viewership rating of 15.7%. On March 1, 2011, the day after the series concluded, a special episode aired in which the cast of the program performed the Dream High Special Concert on a stage in Seoul.
Song Sam-dong is played by Kim Soo-hyun. A rustic bumpkin who is a musical genius suffering from a rare ailment, He develops an unrequited love for Hye-mi. Six Kirin High School students want to be K-pop idols, among other things. Throughout their school years, students learn how to improve their singing, songwriting, and dance abilities while also growing personally. They begin to develop affections for one another as well. Each of them has their own set of talents and flaws, yet they work together to achieve their goals.
