Dress up and visit Burj Al Arab
The Burj Al Arab is a luxurious hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is one of the world's tallest hotels, managed by the Jumeirah hotel company, despite the fact that 39% of its overall height is non-occupable space. The Burj Al Arab is located on an artificial island 280 meters (920 feet) off Jumeirah Beach and is linked to the mainland by a private curved bridge. The structure's form is intended to imitate a ship's sail. It features a helipad near the roof, which is 210 meters (689 feet) above ground. The interdisciplinary company Atkins, directed by architect Tom Wright, created the Burj Al Arab. Rick Gregory, a Canadian engineer at WS Atkins, oversaw the design and construction. The island's development began in 1994, and at its peak, up to 2,000 construction workers were employed.
With its dramatic architecture that resembles a ship's billowing sail, this landmark luxury hotel floats on its own artificial island and has become an iconic emblem of Dubai's boom years. The interior design of the Burj Al Arab is all about impact, drama, and unrepentant bling, with dancing fountains, gold fittings, gleaming marble, and whirlpool spas that your butler may fill with champagne if you so choose. If a stay is out of your price range, you may still enjoy in the extravagance by booking drinks, afternoon tea, or supper in the underwater restaurant.
