Meander among the flowers at Dubai Miracle Garden
The Dubai Miracle Garden is a floral garden in the Dubailand area of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The garden first opened its doors on Valentine's Day in 2013. It is the world's biggest natural flower garden, occupying over 72,000 square metres (780,000 sq ft) and including over 50 million blooms and 250 million plants. When entering Dubai Miracle Garden, which covers 2000 square meters and is billed as the world's biggest natural flower garden, there's a sensation of Alice in Wonderland-esque surrealism. Wander by eccentric bloom-covered peacocks, clocks, and castles, or relax in a cabana with billowing curtains and floor cushions.
The Dubai Miracle Garden is open from October to April each year. It is closed from May to September because to high temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit), which are not suitable to flower viewing. The flowers are kept alive by reusing treated wastewater using a drip watering system, which uses an average of 757,082 litres (166,535 imperial gallons; 200,000 US gallons) of water every day. According to Dubai Miracle Park authorities, the Dubai municipality collects and directs the city's grey water to the garden. The water is re-filtered and converted to high-quality water for use in the garden by the garden. The garden is only watered once it has closed for the evening.
