Eddie Murphy
Edward "Eddie" Regan Murphy is an American actor, comedian, singer, screenwriter, and film producer. Murphy was a regular on Saturday Night Live from 1980 to 1984.
He worked as a comedian and reached number 10 on Comedy Central's 100 Greatest Stand-Up Stands of All Time. In the film, Murphy was nominated for a Golden Globe for 48 hours of acting. (1982), Beverly Hills Cop (1984 - present), Trading Places (1983), The Nutty Professor (1996) and Dolemite - My Name Is (2019). He also won numerous awards for his work on the fantastic comedy Doctor Dolittle (1998) and its 2001 sequel.
In 2015, Murphy was awarded the Mark Twain Award for American Humor from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. In 2020, he won his first Emmy Award for Best Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for hosting Saturday Night Live.
