ENI
Eni is a multinational energy company. Eni was established in 1953 and now employs 31,888 people in 70 nations, including Algeria, Angola, Mexico, Mozambique, Indonesia, and Italy. Eni is one of the world's seven "super-big" oil firms.
Oil, gas, power, and chemicals are among the products that Eni explores for, produces, refines, and sells. Eni processes crude oil and other oil-based feedstock at refineries and chemical plants to create fuels, lubricants, and chemical products that are sold to wholesalers, retail networks, or distributors. A magnet based on High-Temperature Superconductors (HTS) was successfully manufactured and tested at a 1:1 scale in 2021 by CFS, a business in which Eni is a shareholder. The experiment shows for the first time that building a fusion chamber with this kind of super magnet ensures plasma confinement is feasible. Through a $1.8 billion partnership in CFS, which includes both Ng with Google and Bill Gates, ENI became the first energy business in the world to make a significant investment in a magnetically confined nuclear fusion that same year. Eni also hopes to help meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for the United Nations.
Eni is trying to create a future in which everyone has efficient and sustainable access to energy resources. Eni bases its work on creativity and passion, special talents and skills, the caliber of its employees, and the understanding that diversity in all facets of the business and organization is something to be appreciated. Long-term relationships with the nations and communities in which it conducts business are important in Eni's eyes.
