Ericsson
Telefonaktiebolaget Swedish global networking and telecommunications business LM Ericsson, or simply Ericsson, is headquartered in Stockholm. Information and communications technology products such as 3G, 4G, and 5G networks as well as IP and optical transport systems are only some of what the company offers to telecommunications service providers and businesses.
The firm has a global workforce of about 100,000 individuals and a presence in more than 180 nations. Ericsson has received more than 57,000 patents to date. Ericsson is one of the pioneers in the 5G telecommunications market and has made significant contributions to its growth.
Lars Magnus Ericsson established the corporation in 1876; today it is owned by the Wallenberg family (through Investor AB) and the universal bank Handelsbanken (via Industrivärden). After the Kreuger empire collapsed in the early 1930s, the Wallenbergs and the Handelsbanken sphere acquired voting-strong A-shares and, by extension, control of Ericsson. Ericsson is credited as the company that first developed Bluetooth.
