From September 2 to October 22, 2016, it aired on the cable network JTBC on Fridays and Saturdays at 20:30 (KST) time slot.
So-hye (Kim Hyun-joo), a dedicated playwright, is composing a drama on cancer at the same time as she receives a breast cancer diagnosis and is informed she has five months to live. She makes the decision to live it up, do whatever she wants, and leave no regrets. She vows to complete her final assignment, but because she is a workaholic, she also prepares to depart discreetly after. Her preparations, however, are derailed when Hae-sung (Joo Sang-wook), a well-known actor and her first love, unexpectedly appears. So-hye vehemently opposes having Hae-sung play the lead role in her most recent drama. She is annoyed by his stiff, robotic demeanor and persistent nagging, and they periodically get into little arguments.
But along the way, they actually seem to be falling in love. Meanwhile, Jun-gi (Kim Tae-hoon) has been by her side, both as her doctor and a friend. He knows So-hye's bright demeanor sometimes acts as a cover for her secret burden. He has experienced it personally and is well acquainted with her. Although he cannot heal her, he still desires to be her constant partner and help them both confront reality. So-hye is conflicted as she watches Jun-gi and Hae-sung compete for her affection.
