Director Ahn Gil Ho's 2019 Korean drama is titled "Watcher". Three lives were completely upended by a terrible murder that occurred 15 years ago. The trio, who were thrown together by fate, searches for solutions a decade and a half later. Apolitical and maybe callous policeman Kim Young Goon (Seo Kang Joon) joins an investigating squad led by veteran, seasoned officer Do Chi Gwang (Han Suk Kyu). Kim Young Goon is still plagued by the terrifying incidents from 15 years ago, but his recollections also give him plenty of drive.

Meanwhile, Do Chi Gwang has spearheaded an investigation into widespread corruption as part of his unwavering pursuit of justice—a pursuit that hasn't gained him many allies in the police department. Han Tae Joo (Kim Hyun Joo), a former prosecutor who is now a lawyer, finally joins them. Will the trio discover the truth about the tragic incident that determined their fate? And what sinister truths will they stumble upon along the way?
