Undercover (2021)
Undercover is a 2021 South Korean television series directed by Song Hyun-wook and starring Ji Jin-hee, Kim Hyun-joo, Jung Man-sik, and Heo Joon-ho. It tells the narrative of Han Jeong-hyeon (Ji Jin-hee), a National Intelligence Service agent, and Choi Yeon-soo, a human rights attorney, and is based on the BBC drama series of the same name. From April 23 to June 12, 2021, it broadcast on JTBC on Fridays and Saturdays at 23:00 (KST). In South Korea, streaming media TVING offers access to the series.
Han Jeong-hyeon (Ji Jin-hee), a member of the National Intelligence Service (formerly the Agency for National Security Planning), has been operating undercover as a parent and proprietor of a bicycle repair business for the last 30 years. His wife, a human rights attorney named Choi Yeon-soo (Kim Hyun-joo), is appointed as the first Director of the Corruption Investigation Office (CIO). These people are attempting to learn the truth while up against a powerful entity that holds the position of authority. When Jeong-hyeon's secret life is revealed, the television show puts their marriage to the test.
