Farol Beach, Dili

The Dili Harbor Lighthouse (Portuguese: Farol do Porto de Dli) is a lighthouse on the west side of Dili, the capital city of East Timor, on the shore of the Bay of Dili. It aids in the navigation into and out of Dili's port.

Farol Beach is located on Timor-north Leste's coast in Dili. This picturesque stretch of soft sand is ideal for walking and provides stunning views and photo opportunities. The name is derived from the small white-and-green lighthouse (farol) that stands on the beach and adds to the beautiful scenery. In the surrounding area, there is a restaurant and a cafe. The majority of visitors arrive in the evening to watch the sunset from the beach; it can get crowded around this time.
