Located in the historic Ferry Building at the popular port of the city, Ferry Building Marketplace is home to stores selling all types of foods – from products to prepared dishes. The marketplace also includes restaurants and cafes, as well as the Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market – a wonderful farmers’ market known for its great quality and variety of fresh products. In March 2003, the landmark San Francisco Ferry Building reopened to the public after an extensive four-year restoration. The Ferry Building Marketplace -- a world-class public food market -- is organized along a dramatic indoor street, the Nave, which is also one of the best indoor markets in the world.
