Furong Cave
Furong Cave is a big limestone cave in Chongqing's Wulong County, some 190 kilometers from the city center. It was dubbed "China's most beautiful underground site." Furong Cave contains about 70 different types of secondary chemical debris, resulting in a rich environment that is majestic and finely formed. "A vibrant spectacular underground art palace," it was called.
Furong Cave features two chemical forms of rock, carbonate rock and sulfate salt rock types, as well as a broad range and colorful types of sedimentary, almost all of which have stalactites, for a total of more than 70. Stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, coral crystal blooms, and other formations Its mineral composition is primarily calcite and gypsum, aragonite, and water magnesite stone, with a large number of perfect-form species extensively distributed. This country's scenery is the most unique, and some varieties are even rare in the domestic and international landscapes. Furong Cave in 1994 was rated as China’s top cave in more than 100 caves, praised with a reputation for the “king of the cave”, is recognized as the most beautiful scenery in underground.
