Meishan Longgong Karst Cave
The hinterland picturesque region of Xuefeng mountain (previously known as Meishan), Hunan Province's largest mountain, is Meishan Dragon Palace. It's in Xinhua County, Loudi City, Hunan Province, on the banks of the Zishui River. It is a vast karst cave group with a karst geological and geomorphological landscape that includes karst caves, canyons, peak forests, cliffs, rivers, funnels, and underground rivers, among other features. It comprises nine cave layers, totaling more than 2870 meters in length. The designed tour path is 1896 meters long and includes the world's only unknown underground river, which is 466 meters long. The whole cave is divided into six scenic spots: Dragon Palace welcoming guests, blue water lotus palace, Jade Emperor's palace, Dragon Palace fairy garden, Dragon Palace customs, dragon and Phoenix presenting auspiciousness.
The Dragon Palace cave in Meishan is home to a diverse range of sceneries and several attractions. Because the canal is unknown, you can board a boat, go on the water in search of immortals, and gaze up at the Dragon Palace's nine heavens. The meandering and calm dry road allows you to walk and observe the stalagmites and stalactites. The gorge sky, the birth of Nezha, the Jade Emperor's castle, the heavenly palace, and the ancient river bed are among the world's five karst caves. Professor Lu Cunyue, a consultant for the National Tourism Administration and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, described it as "the most beautiful Geological Museum in Asia," while Professor Zhu Xuewen, former director of the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences' karst Research Institute and President of the National Cave Research Association, called it "the first in Hunan, the first in China, the first in the world, and the best in the world."
