Yuhua Cave
Yuhua Cave ranks 3rd in the list of the most beautiful caves in china. It is a historical and scenic place of national significance. Located 5 kilometers southeast of Jiangle County, near the base of Mountain Tianjie. It is named from the cave's lustrous rocks, such as jades and brilliant rays. It is Fujian Province's largest limestone cave. It is Fujian Province's largest limestone cave and one of China's top four karst caves. The cave is around 6 kilometers long. It has been a renowned tourist destination in China since its discovery during the Han Dynasty (206BC-220AD).
The cave is 6 kilometers long and is divided into six branch caves: Zanghe Cave, Leigong Cave, Guozi Cave, Huangni Cave, Xiyuan Cave, and Baiyun Cave, as well as three subterranean rivers: Stone Spring, Well Spring, and Ling Spring, all of which are 1 to 3 meters wide and have water below the knees. Inside the cave, small trails zigzag. There are about 180 underground picturesque locations formed by the corrosion of lime rocks, the most notable of which are "Immortal's Field," "Alchemical Furnace," "Litchi Pillar," "Dragon Coming Out of Sea," and "Child Kowtowing to Guanyin."
