Giambattista Valli

Giambattista Valli was born and reared in Rome, which is both beautiful and historic. Each year, his haute couture and prêt-a-porter collections are shown at Paris Fashion Week. Valli earned a bachelor's degree in art from Liceo. Influences and ideas from his city, Roman roots, Michelangelo Antonioni movies, Yves Saint Laurent, and Gruau drawings all influenced his decision to enroll in the Instituto Europeo del Design in 1986. He began an illustration foundation program at Central Saint Martin's College of Art and Design in London a year later.

In 1995, Valli worked at Krizia-Mariuccia Mandelli as the Senior Designer of Krizia female wear. His two biggest aspirations came true after two years. One was to relocate to Paris, his favorite city, and showcase his taste upon meeting Emanuel Ungaro. He began his personal collection a few years later, and in 2005, he presented his first solo show in Paris. As a result, the Giambattista Valli label was created! In 2010, he opened his first store on Boissy d'Anglas Rue. Valli's ready-to-wear line, which includes jewelry, bags, shoes, accessories, and furs, is shown in the boutique.

There are over 235 selling stations for the label in over 39 countries. Sarah Jessica Parker, Natalie Portman, Halle Berry, Zoe Saldana, Brooke Shields, Diane Kruger, Penélope Cruz, Julianne Moore, Jessica Biel, and Queen Rania of Jordan have all worn his clothes. Giambattista Valli released his own couture collection in 2011.
