Sabyasachi Mukherjee

Sabyasachi Mukherjee is a fashion designer from India. He had a rough childhood and had to fight his family in order to achieve his dream of being a fashion designer. In 1999, he received his bachelor's degree in fashion technology from the National Institute of Fashion Technology. He launched his own little business after graduating from the institute, and his talent allowed him quickly climb the ladder of prosperity. In 2001, he received the Femina British Council's Most Outstanding Young Designer of India award and was given the opportunity to intern in London with some of the world's top fashion designers.

He took part in various fashion shows across the world in 2002 and 2003 and won the 'Grand Winner Award' at the New Asia Fashion Week in Singapore. He's been wearing his Sabyasachisachi line since 1999, and it's become one of the most successful fashion firms in not only India but all of Southern Asia. He is also one of the most well-known designers in the Indian cinema business, having worked on films such as 'Guzaarish,' 'Laaga Chunari Mein Daag,' and 'English Vinglish.'
