Great Barrier Reef, Queensland
The Great Barrier Reef is the world's largest reef system, comprising more than 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands spanning over 2,300 kilometers, with a total area of 344,400 square kilometers. It is located in the Coral Sea region, off the coast of Queensland, northeastern Australia.
