Haohan Qiao Bridge
The Haohan Qiao Bridge is the longest glass-bottomed bridge in the world. With a length of almost 1,000 feet, this magnificent glass suspension bridge is one of the world's longest, so whatever you do, don't look down! It is located in Beijing, China's second-most populated city, and offers a varied selection oé cultural activities.
Each panel is 24 millimeters thick and 25 times more resistant to breakage than ordinary glass. Haohan Qiao was originally made of wood, with only a little portion of glass as an experiment, until a team of 11 engineers proceeded to work on it. Its name, Haohan Qiao, literally translates to "brave men," so you'll have to live up to it if you want to cross the bridge!
The 980-foot-long structure, which has been exposed to the public for a while in China's Hunan province, hangs between two towering cliffs. Clear, stomach-churning views of the ground beneath them are available to walkers. If you're brave enough to cross it, you won't want to look down.
