Harare
Harare is one of Zimbabwe's picturesque towns, located in the Mashonaland area in the north-eastern section of the country. It is one of the most beautiful sites to visit in Zimbabwe because it is the capital.
This city was known as Salisbury until 1982, when it was renamed Harare on the 2nd Zimbabwean Independence Day. Harare has a parkland landscape at an elevation of 1,483 meters. It is known as Zimbabwe's Garden or Sunshine City because of its many parks and outdoor areas.
Mukuvisi Woodlands, Wild Is Life Sanctuary, Shona Sculpture Gallery, National Gallery of Zimbabwe, Harare Gardens, and Chapungu Sculpture Park are among Harare's major attractions. Mukuvisi Woodlands, in particular, should not be missed, since it is home to beautiful foliage as well as natural species and flowers.
Harare has a colder climate due to its high height, with an average temperature of 17.95 degrees Celsius. The city has two different seasons: wet summer (November-April) and cold and dry winter (November-April) (May-August).
