After being auctioned for $3 million in 2012, the Harley Davidson Cosmic Starship became one of the most expensive motorbikes in the world. The Cosmic Starship is based on an older production model, unlike other limited edition luxury bikes, which are developed from the ground up.

In reality, with the exception of the paint job, the Starship is almost completely factory-built. The picture was created by well-known American artist Jack Armstrong, whose works often sell for $300,000 to $3 million.

The Harley Davidson Cosmic Starship was released in 2010 with a $1 million price tag. In 2012, it was sold for three times that much, for $3 million. The Harley Davidson Cosmic Starship motorbike is presently worth between $30 and $35 million.
