Health Across the Gender Spectrum
This course gives students an up-close look at the lives of six transgender youngsters and their families via stories. Learners will obtain a deeper grasp of gender identity and the gender spectrum via illustrated stories and short educational films. Parents, teachers, healthcare professionals, and everyone who wants to help build a more gender-inclusive environment—one in which all individuals may live honestly—can benefit from the advice of Stanford physicians, K-12 educators, and transgender faculty members. We may begin to construct a society that is ready to nurture and love each and every kid as a worldwide community of unique individuals.
This course is for people of all disciplines who care about children and want to make the world a better place for them. This course does not have any requirements. Stanford Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team, with the goal of improving patient care.
