Hiking and trekking paradise

Guatemala is a hiker's paradise due to its stunning volcanic topography. The tops of Guatemala's highlands and volcanoes are the ideal spots to pause and take it all in. The entire nation is a visual feast, with blazing lava flows, breathtaking crater lakes, and verdant jungles.

The majority of the nation's top treks are found in the highlands, which are bounded to the south by a series of smoky volcanoes and to the north by the Sierra de Los Cuchumatanes mountain range.
