Hormuz Island Beach
Hormuz Island is located in Hormuzgan's southern province. It has a mountain named "gelack" that is rich in red oxide soil and is an important material for industrial applications. According to luxuryproperties.ir, the mountain being on the shoreline creates the unusually red beach and red waves of the sea.
The red beach is just one of Hormuz Island's many rocky sand beaches, several of which have fascinating sea caves. As you go about, you will notice many colors and tints of red, yellow, ochre, orange, green, white, brown, and so on. This is why the island is also known as Iran's Rainbow Island.
Hormuz Island has a tropical climate due to its location. Almost majority of the year, the humidity is around 95%. Summers are exceptionally hot and humid, with sunny days and highs of more than 45°C on average. At night, the temperature drops to around 30°C.
There are several locations to visit on the island, depending on how much time you have to explore. Of course, you can easily see the main attractions of Hormuz Island in a single day. However, if you have enough time to spend on the island, you may learn some of the island's mysteries.
