Hormuz Island is located in Hormuzgan's southern province. It has a mountain named "gelack" that is rich in red oxide soil and is an important material for industrial applications. Chabahar, in the province of Sistan and Baluchestan, is a seaport on the Oman Sea in southeastern Iran.
