Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences
Hungary's Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences is a technical university. Its headquarters and main campus are in the Central Hungarian town of Gödöll, some 30 kilometers from Budapest, Hungary's capital. Budapest, Békéscsaba, Gyula, Jászberény, and Szarvas are among the other campuses. The University has eight faculties for study and research, with roughly 15,000 students enrolled.
Hungary's Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences was founded in 2000 after many formerly independent schools merged, the oldest of which was the former University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest, which was founded in 1787.The Szent István University is named after King Stephen I of Hungary (the Saint). Dr. János Tőzsér is the current rector of the university
