Today, Vietnam is recognized as a multi-ethnic country, with a main ethnic group called Kinh and 53 different large and small ethnic minorities. These ethnic minority groups can be found mainly in hilly areas along the length of the country and cover more than three-quarters of the area of Vietnam. Different ethnic groups have different customs from language, lifestyle, and religion to costumes. The special feature that you discover in Vietnamese ethnic groups is their traditional costumes. With a total of 54 ethnic groups, the different styles are endless, but here's a selection of some colourful cultural outfits.

Regardless of the activity, ethnic minorities wear their media clothes to express the diversity in Vietnamese national culture. In Vietnam, a common feature of many hill tribe villages is the iconic stilt house. This elevated structure provides protection from floods and unwanted creatures such as rodents, snakes and other dangerous animals, as well as providing shelter for livestock and livestock. In other tribes, houses are made of compacted earth and all the neighbours build each house together. You can experience ethnic minority festivals such as stall dancing, fan dance or the Kate festival of the Cham people in Ninh Thuan to see the diversity in traditional Vietnamese culture.
