InterContinental New York Barclay

Since its inception in 1926, the InterContinental New York Barclay has been a part of the city's vibrant history. It has hosted legendary guests and even served as the headquarters for a presidential campaign in New York. And, as the city evolves, so does The Barclay, with stunning renovations and sustainability initiatives. Make history in New York City. Join the InterContinental New York Barclay.

The InterContinental New York Barclay reopened in 2016 after a $180 million, top-to-bottom renovation, with more than 420,000 square feet of redesigned interiors. The revitalized property, which was established in 1926 as one of the original "railroad" hotels, now features a more open and inviting lobby that leads to a new Carrara marble grand staircase; 704 spacious guestrooms and suites reminiscent of a classic Park Avenue home; and a Gin Parlour, which offers 88 premium gins alongside preferred wines and spirits and a locally sourced menu. Antique maps and early 19th century Hudson River School landscapes are featured throughout public spaces and guestrooms, reflecting the hotel's 1920s legacy.
