English-speaking students of all nationalities, ages three to seventeen, can receive a British education thanks to the establishment of the International British Academy (IBA) as a school in November 2001. The Department of Education (DepEd) of the Philippines recognized the school for its preschool, primary school, and high school programs.

Class sizes are kept small at the school (15–25 students in primary classes, 15–30 students in secondary classes). Beginning in Year 3, students are exposed to specialized instruction in the three core subjects of mathematics, science, and English.

Additionally, from Year 1 to Year 12, students receive instruction in music, art, ICT, and physical education from specialized teachers. Beginning in Year 3, Mandarin is a required subject that remains so until Year 8. Assistant Teachers are assigned to every class, starting in Nursery and ending in Year 1.

To promote intercultural dialogue, the school firmly enforces the English Only Policy (EOP) on campus. For non-native English speakers, this policy improves English language acquisition even more.

Because every classroom has air conditioning, the atmosphere is favorable for learning. All classes make extensive use of technology, and every classroom has a multi-media projector. There is an internet connection, a multi-media service, and a dedicated ICT lab.

The National Curriculum of England and Wales, which has been specifically modified to meet the needs of our students, serves as the foundation for the work program at the school. It consists of the three fundamental subjects of science, math, and English. Whenever it is thought that doing so will benefit our students, curriculum modifications are made.

The program includes seven foundation subjects in addition to the core subjects: art, music, physical education, religion, information and communications technology, history, and foreign languages (elective). The national language of the Philippines, Filipino, is taught as a core subject. The history curricula at the International British Academy will be modified to include the Philippines' development.

A variety of physical activities make up the Physical Education program. Along with increasing the students' strength, endurance, and agility, these exercises will help them become more self-assured, patient, cooperative, disciplined, and sportsmanlike. The program includes swimming practices, basketball, soccer, volleyball, badminton, and calisthenics in addition to dance. There are plans to increase the range of activities available.

The local classes of High School 3 and High School 4 are equivalent to the British GCSE. Furthermore, other effective curricula, like the Singaporean Mathematics course, complement this program.
