South Mansfield College
South Mansfield College is one of the best British schools in Manila. Under the supervision of Southville International School and Colleges, an international school accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges in the United States, it is an international institution. The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), which is 30 minutes away from the school, is situated south of Manila.
The SMC Pre-School Division is a community that develops learners to become academically competent, disciplined, and well-rounded Pre-School students, in the program through values-driven, intellectually challenging, and relevant preparation for life and for the challenges of an academically excellent Grade School AVID curriculum, and guided by excellent and competent educators, within a safe, positive, and caring learning environment.
The Department of Education has granted South Mansfield College permission to offer the Academic Track as well as the Technical, Vocational, and Livelihood Tracks. We will be providing the General Academic, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), and Accounting, Business, and Management (ABM) strands under the Academic Track in support of the K–12 Program.
Both ICT and Home Economics will be offered under the TechVoc track. Except for an indoor experimental area, a physics/chemistry laboratory, and the new Royals Gymnasium, the school is prepared to offer these programs with the opening of the Third Floor the Senior High School Wing of the newly constructed structure. The center of the home economics student body will be the recently remodeled HBM Center.
During this year's SGENeration Global Dialogues, sixty-three high school students from grades 7 through 12 discussed their ideas and viewpoints on the five Ps (Planet, Peace, Prosperity, People, and Partnership) among the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set forth by the UN. It seeks to raise public awareness of and foster a deeper comprehension of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and how they can be achieved by 2030.
