Jackie Guerrido
Jackie Guerrido (born September 24, 1972) is a Puerto Rican weather forecaster and journalist for Univision's Primer Impacto. Her net worth is $10 million.
Guerrido grew up in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she attended primary and high school. Guerrido claims that her father mistreated her mother, thus when she was seven years old, she and her sister had to seek protection with their mother in the "Casa Protegida Julia de Burgos," a domestic violence shelter in San Juan. She relocated to The Bronx, New York City, with her family after graduating from high school.
A producer who heard Guerrido doing a voice-over gave her a job on WSKQ's morning show, El Vacilon de la Maana ("Good times in the morning"). She accepted an offer from WRMA in Miami shortly after.
Guerrido relocated to Miami and joined the HBC Radio Company after a year at "Romance." She was offered the opportunity to co-host a radio show that broadcasted news and traffic conditions. She eventually got her own music program on WRTO. She also got a position as a traffic reporter for WSCV, Miami's Telemundo station, so she was working for both radio and television at the same time.
