Johnson & Johnson (J&J) is an American global conglomerate that was founded in 1886 and manufactures medical devices, medicines, and consumer packaged goods. J&J is one of the most valuable firms in the world, and it is one of just two U.S.-based companies with a prime credit rating of AAA, which is higher than the US government.
J&J's corporate headquarters are in New Brunswick, New Jersey, with the consumer division in Skillman, New Jersey. The firm has around 250 subsidiary companies with activities in 60 countries and products marketed in more than 175 countries. Johnson & Johnson's brands include many well-known pharmaceuticals and first-aid products. Band-Aid Brand bandages, Tylenol pharmaceuticals, Johnson's Baby products, Neutrogena skin and beauty products, Clean & Clear face wash, and Acuvue contact lenses are among its well-known consumer items. Janssen Pharmaceutica is Johnson & Johnson's pharmaceutical division.
