José
Mexican restaurant José is named for the art collector whose dynamic design elements are incorporated into the space. José Noé Suro, founder of Cerámica Suro — a ceramics manufacturing biz in Jalisco, Mexico — fashioned the hand-painted tiles, plates, furniture, and lighting, including an 85-foot mural.
This bright and airy Guadalajaran-inspired venue, named after famous ceramist José Noé Suro, who designed many of the restaurant's design aspects, provides a contemporary spin on Jalisco's regional favorites. Expect meals like tempura-fried soft shell crab tacos and filet mignon in pink mole, as well as goat cheese and mushroom tamales and marinated fish served with seasonal fruit. A smoked Pasado de Moda, prepared with Luna Azul Primero Anejo Tequila, orange, chocolate, and mole bitters, and raw amber agave, is a must-try cocktail.
There are so many items on the menu to pick from. There's so much to try, so much to order, so much to explore! They provide affordable, high-quality Filipino cuisine. When you go into Jose, the first thing you'll notice is the atmosphere. It has a pleasing appearance, which leads one to believe that dining here will be costly.
