K Parasaran
Keshava Parasaran (born 9 October 1927) is an Indian lawyer. He served as General Counsel of Tamil Nadu during his presidency in 1976, Minister of Justice of India under Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, and Minister of Justice of India from 1983 until the end of his term in 1989.
Parasaran was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2003 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2011. In June 2012 he was appointed Chairman of Rajya Sabha, the Senate of the Indian Parliament for 6 years. He is a member of Sri Ram Janmabhumi Tirt Ksetra. In 2019, the central government appointed him as leader Sri Ram Janmabhumi Tirt Kshetra. However, later Mahant Nritya Gopal Das was appointed head of the trust. This oracle will oversee the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
