Soli J Sorabjee

Next on the list of top 10 Indian lawyers is senior attorney Soli J. Sorabjee, best known for defending the country from Pakistan in the 1999 Atlantic Downing international litigation. He is known for his expertise in constitutional matters.

As a former Attorney General in India, Soli J. Sorabjee received the second-highest national recognition, Padma Vibhushan. Soli Sorabji does not deal with cases of freedom of expression and protection of human rights.

Due to his old age, he is very active in the field of law. But few people can stand on a pedestal like Soli Sorabji, as far as the law is known. He charges 10-15 rupees per appearance.
