Kate Middleton
The Duchess of Cambridge's bridal gown remains one of the most iconic royal wedding outfits of all time, despite the fact that she married Prince William eleven years ago at Westminster Abbey. Despite her dress is one of the most talked-about bridal dresses in history, The Duchess of Cambridge only ranks sixth on the list. Kate Middleton married Prince William in 2011 and had a magnificent train that was about nine feet long and had a tight Victorian-style bodice.
Sarah Burton and her Alexander McQueen team meticulously handcrafted Kate's lace gown. The lace for her magnificent garment was created by the Royal School of Needlework. The garment would be worth £386,146 now, just a few years after their wedding day. Amanda Ewing, an embroiderer who worked on the garment, spoke up about the amount of secrecy surrounding its construction. "We knew who it was for, but it was very secret – we had net curtains up, and cleaners were not allowed into the room and the code on the door was changed," she said, adding: "It was a once in a lifetime opportunity."
Cost: Around £387,000
