Given that "Swarovski" has become associated with "crystals," it should come as no surprise that Victoria Swarovski, the successor to the Swarovski kingdom, just walked down the aisle in a gown fully covered with gems: half a million to be exact.

The 23-year-old married property investor Werner Mürz in an Italian wedding fit for a princess, right down to her stunning attire.The custom-designed bridal gown is said to have cost £700,000 (about $885,710) that become one of the most expensive celebrity wedding dresses. The handmade creation, which had paillettes and laser-cut flowers on the princess-cut, A-line skirt, and transparent bodice, was created by Dubai designer Michael Cinco. The garment had a 6-meter long train that spanned no less than four pews and apparently weighed 46kg or 101 pounds, as well as being beautiful on the front. The Austrian bride accessorized with a pair of white Jimmy Choo shoes with her initials inscribed on them and a pair of half-hoop diamonds.
