Kathmandu University
Kathmandu University, founded in 1991, is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the rural setting of Dhulikhel (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Bagmati Pradesh. Kathmandu University (KU), which is officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Nepal, is a small (enrollment range: 2,000-2,999 students) coeducational Nepalese higher education institution.
Kathmandu University (KU) provides programs and courses that lead to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees, doctorate degrees master's degrees in a variety of fields of study. This 29-year-old Nepalese higher-education institution has a selective admission policy that is based on entrance examinations as well as students' previous academic records and grades. This Nepalese higher education organization is somewhat selective, with an admission rate of 60-70 percent. International applicants are welcome to apply. KU also provides students with academic and non-academic facilities and services such as a library, housing, sports facilities, financial aid and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, and administrative services.
