Kirinda
Kirinda is a small settlement on the southeast coast of Australia. This location serves as a superb diving spot in Sri Lanka, with a vast 40-kilometer-long reef. The community also offers a number of sights, such as Buddhist shrines and rock formations, but if you aren't interested in investigating the area further, the gray sharks and tuna will sway you away. So get ready to dive and pack your diving gear as soon as possible!
The wrecks of the Little and Great Basses may be found near Kirinda, making it a unique diving location. These locations are only accessible during the months of March and April. The rest of the year, the water is far too rough and muddy to be enjoyable diving. This dive should definitely be considered if you are considering a vacation to Sri Lanka during the peak Basses season. Although there is no dive facility on Kirinda, you can go to Mirissa or Hikkaduwa.
